+ Supervises the day-to-day delivery of high-quality testing services.

+ Monitors the daily productivity and quality of work, allocates resources as required and troubleshoot/escalate problems as necessary.

+ Schedules, assigns, reviews and coordinates workflow to assure proper utilization and training of lab staff, ensuring all work is in accordance with regulatory and organizational policy, accreditation/compliance requirements.

+ Provides input into the annual budgetary goals, capital expenditure budget for lab equipment and tactical plans for assigned lab team.

+ Contributes to preparing instructions for test methods, procedures, quality control and maintenance procedures.

+ Examines test samples, test performance and provides input regarding issues and/or problems with test/data sheets.

+ Operates machines and lab equipment, may perform routine maintenance of designated test equipment and laboratory area.
