LabCorp is seeking a Specimen Accessioner/Processor to join our team at **Henry Ford St John in Detroit, MI.**

**Work Schedule:** Shift 1, 6:30am to 3:00pm; 2 week rotation (weekends included)

Week 1: 2x8 hours, 6:30am to 3:00pm

Week 2: 3x8 hours, 6:30am to 3:00pm

**Job Responsibilities:**

+ Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
+ Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
+ Accurately identify and label specimens
+ Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
+ Meet department activity and production goals
+ Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
+ Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
+ Resolve and document any problem specimens

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ 1 years or more of experience in a medical or production environment
