**Job Description**

Examines, interprets and performs technical laboratory testing by following established laboratory protocols to facilitate patient care and physician diagnosis in accordance with laboratory as well as CAP, OSHA, CLIA, JCAHO and HIPAA regulatory policies. Functions in the role of laboratory supervisor as required, which includes ordering of supplies, equipment maintenance and compliance of documentation.

Assists with the oversight of the daily laboratory operations.

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology required with 4 years of lab experience orMaster of Science in Medical Technology with 2 years of lab experience
+ NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License required
