Full time positions based in Murarrie, Brisbane, QLDShift times Monday - Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM or 11:00AM to 07:00PMAn extra 1.5% superannuation paid on top of National standard rateReporting to the Section Supervisor, a laboratory technician will be primarily responsible for sample preparation and involved in some analysis and other lab duties.
Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:
Receive and sort soil and water samples, assign tests in accordance with the ELVIS database and prepare batch sheets on Microsoft Excel.Weigh samples and transfer subsamples to the appropriate departments in the laboratoryExtract analytes from water/soil samples as directed by the Standard Operating Procedures.Ensure traceability of samples prepared or vialed.Perform quality control tests.Priorities samples accordingly as per turn around t...
