Job description
We are currently seeking a patient and nurturing 1:1 tutor to support a young learner in the DT5 area with Maths and English.
The young person is in Year 2 but currently working at a Year 1 level, and requires a highly personalised, low‑pressure approach due to SEMH and additional needs.
About the role:
Deliver 2 hours per week (1 hour Maths, 1 hour English)Sessions to take place in the afternoon, following school attendance in the morningPotential to increase hours over time, depending on engagementFocus on building confidence, engagement, and emotional regulation alongside learningSupport a young person who is not yet able to access a full school day The ideal tutor will:
