Kitchen Steward - Sydney Theatre Company

The Fresh Collective are looking for dedicated Kitchen Stewards to support the kitchen brigade at one of our venues, The Wharf Restaurant and Bar, which is part of Sydney Theatre Company. The venue is located at 15 Hickson Road, Walsh Bay, which is an 8-minute walk from Barangaroo Metro Station. 

We are offering 20 hours per week mostly evening shifts with some day shifts, Monday to Saturday.

The Role 

The Kitchen Steward is responsible to perform basic kitchen duties as requested by the Head Chef, including:

• General washing up
• Basic food preparation
• Cleaning of kitchen equipment
• Cleaning of kitchen surrounds
• Deep cleaning
• 20 to 30 hours per week
