Vacancy is in the Department of Families, Children, and Youth. Under general direction provides leadership and guidance in the development and coordination of liaison activities with various local state, federal and private agencies and organizations involved in juvenile work, to develop and implement programs and procedures to overcome problems of interrelationship with other organizations involved in juvenile work. Plans and develops programs and services aimed at expanding the capability of the department’s efforts in the juvenile field. Initiates coordinated action among educational institutions, juvenile court, employment agencies, correctional institutions and other agencies and groups in dealing with juvenile problems. Promotes fact finding or survey projects aimed at identifying problems and laying a basis for corrective action.
