A leading export company situated in Cape Town is urgently seeking the expertise of a Junior Buyer to join their team.
The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for:
Negotiate and finalize prices with the suppliers for diverse services and materials Improve the methods of purchasing and eliminate unnecessary expenditure Find new clients Find new suppliers both locally and internationally, negotiate terms and supply agreements, negotiate rebates and discounts According to the production schedule ensure that you purchase the required equipment, materials and components The entire production cycle ensure that you plan, monitor and schedule the materials movement According to the necessity, the orders should be expedited. Any problems in delivery should be identified and rectified and the correct personnel informed including the client
