Job Opportunity : Project Coordinator, Visual Arts Nova Scotia

Visual Arts Nova Scotia (VANS) is accepting applications for a contract, Project Coordinator. The position is a 4-month, 30hrs / week, $12 / hr contract that will start August 1st, 2011 and end December 1st, 2011.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator will coordinate event and funding logistics for an artist residency and symposium that aims to explore the intersection between traditional and new approaches to site-specific work. The Residency and Symposium will take place in Spring 2012. In preparation for the project, the Project Coordinator will coordinate grant proposals and support material, communicate with international and national artists, partners, volunteers and assist in office administration.
