The Role

We are looking for experienced and engaging Japanese teachers to deliver face‑to‑face adult group courses, primarily in the evenings.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver high‑quality, communicative Japanese lessons to adult learners
• Plan engaging lessons aligned with IH syllabi
• Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Build a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high academic standards
• Complete attendance records and update the SharePoint folder with work‑done records

Qualifications

• Native or near‑native proficiency in Japanese
• Recognised teaching qualification in Japanese
• Minimum 3 years’ experience teaching groups
• Right to work in the UK and currently UK‑based
• 420‑hour Japanese teacher training qualification (or equivalent)
