Description
The IT Asset Manager will establish and lead the IT Asset Management (ITAM) function for the company from the ground up. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing end-to-end asset lifecycle processes across hardware, software, and cloud assets, ensuring accurate tracking, compliance, and optimization.
Acting as a strategic process owner, this individual will define asset management standards, drive adoption across global IT teams, and ensure adherence to governance, audit, and regulatory requirements (e.g., CMMC/NIST). The role partners closely with IT, CMDB, and service management teams to align asset data, improve visibility, and support financial planning through lifecycle management and reporting.
This is a highly visible, Greenfield opportunity requiring a self-starter who can build processes from scratch, influence stakeholders, and establish a scalable, compliant ITAM program across a global environment.
