Responsibilities
Sensor setup and system design Design, implement and maintain IoT sensor networks and data acquisition systems for geotechnical applications (e.g., piezometers, inclinometers, strain gauges, total stations, etc.) Identify and specify field data acquisition hardware such as nodes, loggers and gateways & select, assess, configure, and maintain sensors and communication devices for accurate data acquisition Data Acquisition, Transformation, and Management Build and manage data pipelines from edge devices to cloud on on-premise-hosted databases & implement transformation logic for raw sensor data based on project-specific rules Ensure data quarantine and release workflows, and alert rules and escalations are correctly programmed and integrated & collaborate with field teams to set up data monitoring systems for projects Ensure secure data transmission and storage using best practices & monitor system health and uptime of IoT infrastructure Collaboration & Reporting Work...
