Investor Relations (IR) is responsible for developing and managing Citi's relationships with institutional investors and research analysts who cover Citigroup, with respect to both Equity and Fixed Income markets. IR works to ensure that the financial markets have a deep and thorough understanding of Citi's strategy, financial performance and growth prospects, and in turn, that Senior Management understands the market's perspective on Citi. IR is also principally responsible, in conjunction with Finance and Legal, for ensuring that Citi's external disclosures and financial communications are appropriate and help the Street develop an understanding of Citi.

Investor Relations is responsible for all quarterly earnings documents (analyst presentation, press release, CFO script) as well as all Senior Management with investors, including conferences, non-deal roadshows and other meetings.
