Role description

We are currently seeking an intermediate Road Designer for our Waterloo‑ON office. This position will provide technical support and services to the Traffic Engineering / Transportation Planning team, helping define the cities of tomorrow.

Role accountabilities

In this role you will work on water, storm water, and sanitary sewer designs and LID applications & processes. You will be responsible for traffic and roundabout design and understand active transportation principles. You will do utility coordination, environmental assessment / approvals, roadway construction tender preparation, estimates and specifications. This person will conduct traffic impact studies including collecting transportation data, building traffic analysis models, and performing traffic analysis.
