**Overview**



The **Intake Specialist** **II** will assist new and returning families with scheduling an initial appointment for services in the appropriate clinic. The incumbent will interact with clients, families, clinicians, and administrative staff in a courteous and professional manner while adhering to high standards of customer service and maintaining client confidentiality.



**Responsibilities**



1. Serve as liaison between clients, families, and clinicians for intake screening, referral, and placement based on defined clinic criteria for Aliceanna, Fairmount, Patuxent and Odenton locations. Serve as liaison between all Behavioral Psychology departments and other Kennedy Krieger Institute departments.

2. Complete intakes in EPIC system, including collecting demographic information, insurance information, and the reason of concern for the family seeking services at Behavioral Psychology.
