The Department of Mathematics at Western Kentucky University seeks to fill a nine-month, non-tenure track faculty appointment at the rank of Instructor I with the potential for promotions. The position begins on August 10, 2026. Appointment will be on a year-by-year basis, with a performance review occurring annually.

The successful candidate will teach a range of undergraduate mathematics courses and may also teach courses in the areas of math education and/or statistics, depending on qualifications. Candidates who hold a terminal degree in mathematics or a closely related field may also have the opportunity to teach graduate-level courses.
