ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• CSWP 3.1 or AWS CWI for Welding and NDT Level II Certifications for NDE.
• CSWIP film interpretation/CSWIP 3.2.2/RTFI Level II Certification through Petrofac for RT interpretation.
• Minimum 7 years experience as Welding/Piping/Pipeline QC Inspector & Painting/coating/Refractory/Fireproofing QC Inspector.
• Should have experience in oil & gas/petrochemical industry.
• Should have previously worked with major EPC contractor or their subcontractors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Welding

• Monitoring and reporting fabrication, installation, erection and testing processes of process piping, steel structures, tanks, vessels and metallic items.
• Review WPS, PQR and weld maps.
• Witness welder qualifications and ensure material/welding consumables are stored and handled correctly and traceability is...
