MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Has a fundamental responsibility to ensure product safety and quality as it applies to all the duties listed below;
- Prepare production paperwork for machine start-up and operation.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure parts are collected into storage boxes and are counted correctly.
- Pull shots for quality checks following machine re-starts or as needed.
- Identify nonconformities and inform the Shift QA.
- Evaluate product to ensure high quality and conformance with established standards.
- Report any food safety and quality problems or concerns.
- Evaluate and document machine performance.
- Maintain ink in printers and labels in labelers. Un-jam assemblers as needed.
- Tape boxes shut, label the boxes, and stack for shipment.
