Responsibilities This position is located in the Network Management Branch, Office of Information Systems, Information, Policy and Public Affairs Division. Provides the Bureau of Prisons with comprehensive computer, computer networking, and information system support. Acts as a technical expert in computer hardware, Local Area Networks (LANs), commercial personal computer software, custom personal computer programming, and telecommunications software and must possess a mastery of these specialty areas. Develops software and evaluates new technology within guidelines specified by the Office of Information Systems that will support all Bureau personnel.
