Major/Essential Functions
Monitors APIC, OSHA, & Ector County Public Health Epidemiology websites for updates on employee health and infection control practices. Communicates education to Senior Director and managers as neededPerforms, coordinates and facilitates systems audits for campus administration, including clinical, operational, and academic functions with policy/procedure review and /or development to address deficiencies and improve quality, efficiency for delivery of services/processesSupports and reviews Infectious Disease Exposure Policy in conjunction with the Section Manager and Director and the Infection Control Committee ChairmanDaily tracking of HAI's, reportable conditions, exposures, communicable diseases, and LARC complianceProvides Infection Prevention education and develops infection prevention competencies.Compiles Infection Prevention and Occupational Health compliance reports.
