**Industrial Painter**

**Paying $22 / HR to $28/ HR**

**Location - Portland, OR**

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and paint a variety of surfaces including aluminum, ferrous metal, stainless steel, and other surfaces as specified; protect and prime surfaces as appropriate; apply finish coatings to Mil Spec requirements.
+ Assist to appropriately rig large objects for the purpose of moving them in the process of applying the industrial coatings
+ Be familiar with the various types of metal abrasive treatments such as media -blasting, chemical etching, degreasers, etc.
+ Painter will spray surfaces of manufactured products with protective material such as enamel, acrylic, or epoxy.
+ Selecting and mixing coating paints to desired color and prepare spraying equipment such as cleaning or adjusting spray guns.
+ Maintaining the paint mix room while following the company safety policies.
