Job Summary

We are looking to add an Industrial Engineering Manager located in Prai, Penang. The role is responsible for managing a team of industrial engineers working on increasing productivity through the management of workers, methods of business organization, and technology to solve organizational, production, and related problems efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team of engineers and technicians to establish work measurement programs and evaluate work samples to develop standards for labor utilization.
• Evaluates staff utilization, facility layout, and operational data, such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to define efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
• Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow, relocating workstations and equipment, and purchasing equipment.
