The Import Executive is responsible for placing PO’s to our suppliers, managing any transportation requirements and then importing and delivering the shipment to our warehouse or in some cases directly to the customer. creates the purchase orders, places the order and plans the product receipt. This role works closely with inventory planners, commercial sales team, customer service, portfolio management as well as with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Input all new Purchase Orders into JD Edwards & email PO to supplier for order placement
• Coordinate shipping schedule with sales, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Coordinate logistics with shipping lines, forwarders, drayage companies & warehouses
• Securing booking schedule to meet required inventory demand
• Track and trace incoming shipment with shipping line, trucking company and broker/forwarder
