We’re looking for an experienced Identity Engineer to join Auckland Council’s Information Security team and help shape the future of identity and access management across one of New Zealand’s largest and most complex technology environments.

This is a hands‑on technical role where you’ll design, implement, and support modern identity solutions across cloud and hybrid environments. Working closely with Security, Architecture, Platform Engineering, and Application teams, you’ll strengthen identity governance, enhance access controls, and support Auckland Council’s ongoing cloud transformation.

You’ll play a key role in delivering secure, reliable, and user‑friendly identity services for more than 10,000 workforce users while contributing to the evolution of our identity capabilities and security posture.
