Position Overview
Minimum requirements
Education - Bachelors degree or relevant tertiary qualification in a related field.
- Food Safety Certification(s) such as ISO9001, ISO18000, ISO22000, HACCP and Hygiene Practices (essential).
Experience and skills - Minimum 35 years experience in a wholesale and/or retail environment, preferably in meat or food processing.
- At least 2 years managerial experience in a similar hygiene, quality or food safety role.
- Experience in internal auditing.
- Computer literacy: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Abaserve.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English (essential); isiXhosa proficiency advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and people management skills.
- Highly organised, able to work under pressure with excellent time management.
