Position Summary
This position serves as the Human Resources Manager for the College of Education and provides comprehensive oversight of human resources operations for a large and complex academic unit. The Human Resources Manager oversees and administers HR processes, policies, and procedures; manages recruitment and hiring, of support and academic staff; coordinates professional development training; coordinates employee relations matters; and ensures consistent implementation of university and college human resources policies and practices.
The Human Resources Manager supervises four staff members who administer personnel processes across four academic departments and approximately ten U2 units and centers. The role oversees approximately 300 fixed-term faculty and academic staff reappointments and 300 graduate student appointments annually, as well as onboarding, orientation, payroll oversight, and compliance monitoring.
