Role Overview

The role is based in Rotherham and works under the HSEQ Manager with a wider team of five across multiple sites. The site has about 100 staff and the advisor will travel to project sites once a month. The new HSE Advisor will lead the development, implementation, maintenance and enhancement of health, safety and environmental management systems, processes and procedures, including occupational hygiene controls and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the development and improvement of HSE management systems.
• Review the effectiveness and compliance of HSE systems, including risk assessments and current control measures.
• Assist in the organisation and provision of HSE training.
• Drive and improve workplace behaviour and culture, owning the HSE roadmap for the year.
