Housekeeper - Ward 7C

The post holder will work as an integral part of the ward teams, coordinating all patient facility services and ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating cleaning and minor maintenance and ensuring compliance with cleaning policy.
• Spot cleaning to address spillages swiftly.
• Cleaning general and specialist equipment such as drip stands, incubators, and commodes.
• Maintaining the ward’s safety and tidiness, removing clutter, tidying notice boards and signage.
• Identifying cleanliness issues and reporting them to the ward sister.
• Specialist cleaning of surfaces and furnishings.
• Monitoring service delivery (cleaning, food, linen, environment) and agreeing action plans.
• Managing the ward’s defect call log book.
