About the Role

Groves Memorial Community Hospital, a 44‑bed acute care facility located between Elora and Fergus, is seeking Day Hospitalists and Nocturnists to provide full 24‑hour comprehensive coverage for inpatient care. The program is open to newer graduates and seasoned hospitalists.

Responsibilities

• All hospital admissions, discharges and daily rounding for all medical patients
• Attending daily multidisciplinary rounds
• Responding to codes (ACLS required)
• Accompanying patients on transfer to higher level hospitals if required
• Support learning providers with willing to work with learners; adjunct professorship available through McMaster if interested
• Arrange for coverage when unable to work the week they are assigned
