Horizon Drilling is hiring a Derrickhand to oversee key drilling processes and ensure safety on-site. Work in a challenging role managing drilling fluids and equipment in a Safety Sensitive environment.
As a Derrickhand, you will be pivotal in climbing the derrick and assisting the Driller with essential equipment maintenance. Your duties revolve around maintaining drilling fluid characteristics, guiding pipe, and complying with safety protocols. Strong teamwork and communication are necessary for effective collaboration with the drilling team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in maintaining equipment for the circulating system
• Guide pipe during tripping while in the derrick
• Observe and adjust drilling fluid properties and circulation
• Work above the drilling floor, ensuring smooth operations
• Comply with and use proper safety equipment
