JOB SUMMARY: To provide the best possible personal care to ill and disabled persons in the home for the achievement of continuity in basic health care.
The Home Health Aide functions under the directions and supervision of the CHHA Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED.
Must be able to read and write.
- Must be proven competent in accordance with OBRA.1987.
- Preferable completed one year of employment as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide.
- Must be in good health.
- Must complete the nurse aide skills assessment test with a score of 75% or better.
- Must demonstrate competency in the personal care tasks as evaluated by a Registered Nurse using the agency checklist for HHA skills.
