SUMMARY OF POSITION
:
Responsible for the performance of various histological procedures, techniques and processes utilized in the Histology and/or Dermatopathology Laboratory.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Associate degree in chemical, physical, biological science, medical laboratory science or equivalent education or Successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Histotechnology program or high school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of clinical work experience in an accredited histopathology laboratory PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Certification/Certification eligible as HT/HTL (ASCP) or equivalent Bachelors Degree in chemical, physical, biological science, medical laboratory science or equivalent education WHY PENN STATE HEALTH?
