Position Overview
Duration: 12 Months Contract Responsibilities:
- Tissue fixation, processing, and embedding of biological specimens
- Sectioning tissues using microtomy techniques to prepare high-quality slides
- Performing routine, special staining, and IHC/IF procedures
- Whole slide scanning
- Maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Ensuring quality control and accurate documentation of laboratory procedures
- Collaborating with pathologists and research scientists to support ongoing projects
Minimum requirements:
- Microtomy skill
- 2 years of experience with FFPE tissue block sectioning (experience with skin required)
- Bachelor degree in histotechnology or a related field
