The role ensures the Council fleet remains fully operational, compliant with DVSA regulations, operator licence requirements, health and safety standards, and internal policies. Responsibilities Carry out maintenance, servicing, inspection, repair, and testing of HGVs, light commercial vehicles, specialist fleet vehicles, and plant equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults efficiently. Prepare and present HGV vehicles for MOT inspections and ensure compliance with DVSA standards.
