Help Desk Specialist

Position Overview

Are you ready for a rewarding opportunity with a company who values your contributions? We are currently looking to hire a Help Desk Specialist to support our very mission-focused customer. In this role you will provide Tier 1 support to end users by utilizing various technical directories and virtual applications. Requirements:

+ Experience troubleshooting general IT related issues

+ Good communication and writing skills

+ Familiarity with LAN/WAN terminologies

+ Familiarity with basic hardware terminologies

+ Ability to respond to mission critical needs on an on-call basis (10%)

+ High School diploma or GED

+ Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

Highly Preferred:

+ Familiarity with COTS and GOTS applications

+ Experience providing Tier 1 or Tier 2 Help Desk support

+ Experience troubleshooting through technical directories and virtual resources
