Job Description

The Department of Radiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a radiologist to join a 24 hour emergency radiology section interpreting CT, MRI, ultrasound, and radiographic studies. Coverage will be a combination of in house and remote coverage and will alternate between day, evening and overnight shifts; one week on and two weeks off.The UAB Department of Radiology consists of faculty members, including 19 physicists and PhD researchers. The emergency radiology section has 16 faculty members, seeking to expand to 18. There are 28 diagnostic radiology residents and eight integrated interventional radiology residents.
