Position Summary

Reporting to the Associate Director, Student Life & Housing, the Healthy Trades Liaison is responsible for the development, delivery, and evaluation of targeted wellness initiatives that support the mental health, physical wellbeing, and overall success of students in the trades and technical programs across North Island College. The role leads the implementation of the Healthy Trades initiative, a specialized, embedded program designed to address the unique challenges of trades and technical program education, including intensive program schedules, physically demanding work, and barriers to accessing support. The Liaison delivers low‑barrier, trades‑relevant supports through classroom engagement, integrated programming, community partnerships, and data‑informed program design.
