Position Overview
Job Scope - Maintain standards of patient care while working with our nursing team to provide patient care support
- Adherence to principles and practice of infection control, health and safety
- Assisting in the inventory management of stocks and consumables.
Main responsibilities - Preparation of the dialysis machine.
- Removal of medical consumable items from the dialysis machine.
- Perform machine, dialysis chair, and patient environment external disinfection.
- Ensure equipment is clean, safe, and in good working order, and report any defects to the in-charge.
- Assisting with stock management, e.g., adequate, correct, and appropriate stocks.
- Assisting patients pre- and post-treatment if needed e.g., assist patient out and into the wheelchair, assist to take the weight, etc.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the treatment and non-treatment areas.
