Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance framework aligned with industry regulations and corporate governance standards. Monitor and ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines set by regulatory authorities (e.g., IFRS, AML/CFT laws). Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, responding to inquiries, audits, and regulatory changes. Provide strategic advice to senior management and the Board on compliance risks and regulatory developments. Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks related to insurance operations, underwriting, claims, and sales practices. Oversee the development and execution of internal policies and procedures to maintain compliance. Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and implement corrective action plans where necessary.
