**POSITION DETAILS**
The Head Athletics Coach reports to the Director of Student Athletics and is responsible for providing leadership, instruction, and mentorship to student-athletes while supporting their academic and athletic success. The Head Coach ensures compliance with all applicable institutional, conference, and national regulations and promotes a positive, inclusive, and respectful team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with all Bronx Community College (BCC), CUNY, Region 15, and NJCAA rules, policies, and procedures.
• Instruct student-athletes in sport-specific fundamentals, techniques, and strategies; plan and conduct practices and competitions in a safe environment.
• Serve as a mentor and role model, fostering a culture of respect, integrity, and inclusion; report any incidents of misconduct, harassment, or discrimination.
