The primary purpose of the Hammel Operator's position is to safely operate the Hammel Grinder / Shredder, maintenance of machinery associated with the chip yard, cleaning machinery associated with the chip yard and performing preventative maintenance of machinery associated with the chip yard.
Other tasks include, but are not limited to cleaning the assigned area in the chip yard and the safe operation of designated front end loaders (or similar machines) for the production of board panels..

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have experience driving heavy equipment such as front end loader, grader, backhoe, bulldozer, or 8-ton lift
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow all JHSAs, technical specifications, and work instructions for the assigned process task.
• Ability to perform routine mechanical and quality inspections of equipment and raw materials.
