The Groups Loan officer will primarily be responsible for driving financial inclusion for groups/chamas by managing thrift amongst members and the end-to-end lending process. Key duties include groups formation, trainings, marketing loan products, evaluating creditworthiness, conducting field and business assessments, monitoring repayments, and managing debt collections to maintain a healthy and compliant loan portfolio.



Core daily responsibilities include;

1. Sales and Client Acquisition

Marketing: Actively identifying potential clients-both groups and individuals, building networks, and promoting microfinance loan products (e.g., group loans, agricultural loans, SME financing) to meet institutional targets.

Onboarding: Assisting prospective borrowers in filling out loan applications and gathering the necessary supporting documents.
