PAY RATE - $15.00 – $18.00

JOB SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of manual work assignments associated with the care and maintenance of the grounds at Coppin State University.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists landscape personnel with maintenance activities to include planting, transplanting, pruning, seeding, mulching, fertilizing and weeding; maintains roads, storm drains, and parking lots and to include ice and snow removal, removal of refuse, rubbish, leaves, dirt etc., and tree removal; drives and provides routine preventative maintenance on grounds vehicles; and operates and maintains related hand power equipment.
