Grid Integration and System Studies Engineer – 1 year contract

Our client, a leading developer within the global offshore wind sector, is looking to hire a Grid Integration and System Studies Engineer for an initial 1 year contract.

This role can be based at one of 3 locations: London, Coventry or Swindon.

The role will be offered on Outside IR35, Limited Co, contract for initial duration of 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Working in construction or development phases of our offshore wind farm projects, the Engineer will be responsible for ensuring a robust and optimised through life design of the project's electrical system supporting on all aspects of the generation and transmission system up to the grid interface point.
• Advise projects on specific questions regarding electrical system behaviour, grid code compliance and grid connection processes.
