Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Elmbridge Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3‑6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience.
We are looking for a Green Spaces Ranger. This role will be based at KT10 9SD.
Responsibilities
- Undertake minor maintenance and improvement work, including the installation, removal, repair or replacement of litter bins, benches, and other items of green spaces furniture.
- Install, remove and maintain signs and posts.
- Repair, repaint and carry out general maintenance of posts, bollards, barriers and fences.
- Empty bins.
- Cut back and clear plants, shrubs and low‑hanging branches.
- Control noxious weeds.
- Install memorial plaques.
- Clean play equipment.
