Responsibilities
The Asian and Pacific Training Centre for Information and Communication Technology for Development (APCICT), a regional institute of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), was established on 16 June 2006 in Incheon, Republic of Korea, with a mandate to strengthen the human and institutional capacities of member States and associate members in the use of ICT for achieving socio-economic development goals. To fulfil its mandate, APCICT focuses on three interrelated pillars: Training, Advisory Services, and Multi-stakeholder Partnerships.
