Overview

Reporting to the Department Manager, the Graduate Assistant is responsible for the daily administration and operation for the MSc Epidemiology, MSc Biostatistics and PhD programs within the Department of Public Health Sciences. The incumbent acts as a departmental resource person for the research programs and is responsible for important customer/client service functions with program students and stakeholders. The Graduate Program may also receive guidance from the Department Head and Program Directors.

Responsibilities

• This position acts as a resource person and first point of contact for students, staff, faculty, and the general public regarding admissions, registration, scholarships and awards, and graduate program policies and procedures.
