GPS Heavy Machinery Operator (AKL)

Position Overview

We're looking for an experienced GPS Heavy machinery operator to join our Civil Northern team. This is a great opportunity to be part of regional projects that help shape the local community.

What we're looking for



  • Proven precision-guided earthmoving, grading, and site preparation tasks 



  • Expertise in operating and troubleshooting GPS guidance systems such as Trimble, Topcon, and Leica.



  • Knowledge of how to properly set up, configure, and calibrate GPS equipment and attachments on heavy machinery to ensure millimeter-level accuracy.


  • The ability to diagnose and fix technical issues related to the GPS equipment, software, and connectivity in the field.

  • Proven, hands-on experience operating various types of heavy equipment, such as excavators, dozers, graders, and scrapers.


  • Performing routine maintenance checks, cleaning, and minor repairs to ensure all equipment, ...
