Position Overview
Key duties:
Operates geographic information systems software, image processing software, spatial data extraction software and related mapping systems. Chooses appropriate cartographic techniques and methods to design, produce and revise maps. Participates in the development and enhancement of the GIS applications and process. Uses critical thinking to establish methods and perform data extracts, manipulation and analysis of spatial information using a range of GIS and database applications. Manages data in accordance with departmental needs and standards. Creates edits and maintains geographic and textual information within a GIS environment in support of our clients mapping and route measurement processes. Experience:
