As a Geotechnical Construction Technician you will provide a wide range of observation and testing services for geotechnical and construction-related projects for a diverse client base in the private and public sectors.

General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Observe and document construction activities to assure compliance with technical specifications


• Monitor and test the moisture and density of soils using a nuclear density testing gauge


• Testing of concrete for slump, air content and unit weight


• Testing of asphalt for temperature and compaction


• Assist laboratory and drilling personnel as requested


• Use civil drawings, project specifications and geotechnical reports effectively
